The Telangana government is all set to come up with rural development scheme for the progress of people living in rural areas. To be known as TRIG, Telangana Rural Inclusive Growth, the new scheme will come into force soon under Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP) which is widely existed and popular programme introduced in united Andhra Pradesh.
TRIG focuses on providing education and health to poor students, preventing infant mortality, distribution of protein-rich food, educating on the latest techniques in agriculture and etc. As part of its first phase, TRIG will be launched in 150 Mandals of Telangana as an experiment. State Panchayat Raj and IT Minister KT Rama Rao has held a meeting with higher authorities on this.
