Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy on Monday heavily came down on Congress and Telugu Desam parties for their tirade against the TRS government. Speaking to mediapersons here, the Home Minister alleged that TDP and Congress leaders have gone ‘mad’ ever since they lost power. Nayani ridiculed the TDP leaders for taking up Bus Yatras which seems like a jolly trip.
He also alleged that misrule and sins of the Congress and TD regimes for the past 60 years have turned out to be curses to Telangana and its development. He attributed present problems being faced by Telangana are due to deliberate negligence and corrupt mentality of these two governments. Had they not ignored the problems and plight of the region, Telangana would not have faced power crisis and other problems, he noted.
He sought to know why the TDP Government failed to construct power projects in Telangana when N Chandrababu Naidu was the Chief Minister of erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh. “Is it not deliberate attempt to cause damage to our state”, he asked. Nayani also flayed that the Seemandhra rulers built power projects in Seemandra region without coal resources. Despite abundance of coal reserves, Telangana could not get one single power project, he said.
