Right after crushing Congress to defeat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi started showing his stamp on governance. Though he faced some electoral reverses with in month of swearing in as PM losing some MP seats in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar etc, his close aide Amit Shah, President of BJP turned the party stronger winning Haryana and Maharashtra.
According to the latest survey, which may prove death-knell to Congress party which is hoping for a comeback cashing in on to Modi’s mistakes, PM Modi got Thumbs Up from Urban India. FourthLion Technologies, a Bangalore based firm which conducted the survey using high-speed polling technology InstaVaani, said nine out of ten participants approved Modi’s performance in the office. Survey once again proves what political analysts have been saying that BJP is on ascendancy after its wins in Maharashtra and Haryana assembly elections.
Survey conducted on August 15 showed more than 82% approved Modi’s style of functioning. Survey indicates that approval rate fell down from 84% due to Modi Govt’s handling of Blackmoney issue. More than 90% of the two wheeler and four wheeler users approved Modi’s actions. Analysts say Modi’s tech savvy ways may have helped him garner this tremendous support. Modi also reached everyone by addressing through All India Radio.
