Contrary to his fiery onscreen image, Rajni is not strong in real-life and doesn’t want to take on TN CM Ms. Jayalalitha, head-on, like in the past. As soon he met Mr. Modi and loudly declared the ‘meeting’ as ‘friendly and apolitical’, he rushed to Jaya TV and appeared today (Tamil New Years Day) for the first time in his career (since Rajni and Jaya were not in good terms for 18 years) in the guise of promoting his film ‘Kochadaiyaan’.
Since Robo star didn’t want to annoy AIADMK supremo, he rushed to Jaya TV’s office and spoke to star comedian Vivek on various issues, but didn’t touch politics and also praised the swanky Jaya TV crew.
Usually, Rajni used to appear only on DMK-run Sun TV, but now he has changed tracks. Quite a balancing act, indeed!
