Union Minister Sujana Choudhary says that he finally had his way. Though he had earlier claimed that his government had requested for Rs 10000 crores from the Centre, he says he has managed to get Rs 8300 crores finally and adds that another Rs 300 crores will be released any time soon.

However, Sujana Choudhary had earlier mentioned that the state will get Rs 7500 crores to cover up the deficit budget. However, till date only Rs 2300 crores have been released. Another Rs 610 crores were given under GST and another Rs 1500 crores were given for development of capital city, he said.

Apart from these, Sujana had also included funds that were released earlier in his figures. So, in all, it can be said that Sujana did succeed in getting funds to AP and it looks like the Centre too has done its bit for the state. If the funds are used for developmental purposes, then it would definitely be a step forward in Centre-state relations.
