Close on the heels of series of media reports over Robert Vadra’s alleged misdeeds in land dealings and call for probe in the matter is getting louder, the husband of Priyanka Vadra and son-in-law of Sonia Gandhi said to have shut down over six of his companies. However, the reason for sudden winding up of his companies is a mystery. Interestingly, the six companies which were reportedly closed its doors were started just two years ago when UPA II was in regime and Vadra’s mother-in-law Sonia Gandhi was in power.
Vadra’s expansion plan in both Haryana and Rajasthan started off just two years ago were now shut down, said TV reports. Incidentally, the move is soon after Congress lost to BJP in recent Assembly elections. Sharply reacting on the issue Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij quipped, “We’re wondering whether Sonia Gandhi’s family running away to Italy? Vadra seems to be scared due to impending investigation by the new government.”
He added “This is just beginning. The entire Gandhi family is getting ready to run away to Italy.” Anil Vij had earlier announced that BJP govt will probe Vadra-DLF deal.
