Creative director Krishna Vamsi, who kick started his film career as an assistant director to Ram Gopal Varma with Siva, has heaped praises on RGV for his “path-breaking”, “novel” thoughts. Talking about Siva, Krihsna Vamsi compared the film with all-time classic of Indian Cinema Sholay and said, “Siva is the Sholay of Telugu Cinema.”
Vamsi didn’t stop thee. He said that RGV always tries his hand at new things whereas others like him try to follow him. Krishna Vamsi also said that the “first” star-hero he met was Nagarjuna i.e., on the sets of Siva. Later on Vamsi directed Nagarjuna in Ninne Pelladatha and the film turned out to be super hit.
