Ever since gangster Nayeemuddin aka Nayeem was shot dead by Telangana police recently, a mad rush has been witnessed in Tollywood to make a biopic on him to cash in on the curiosity factor.

However, the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce (TFCC) has given a shock to all the ‘Nayeem’ aspirants by rejecting the use of ‘Nayeem’ as the film’s title. Despite the title ‘Nayeem’ has been rejected by Film Chamber, opportunistic filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, who always is in search of controversial subjects for his films, has announced to go ahead with the biopic of Nayeem.

Varma however made a small difference in the title as his directorial will be called ‘Ram Gopal Varma Nayeem’. Sources said that he was yet to submit an application for this title. Meanwhile, Varma has recently released the title track of this upcoming film via his twitter account.

On the other hand, the film chamber has also refused the use of ‘Sindhu’ as the title of another film. Apparently, the applicant submitted an application for the grant of ‘Sindhu Sharma’ title. Feeling that the applicant was obviously intending to cash in on 2016 Olympics silver medalist Sindhu’s recently acquired fame, the film chamber reportedly asked him applicant to get ‘No Objection’ letter from her.
