KCR is all set to represent Andhra Pradesh. Well, what you read is right. Central government has appointed Telangana Chief Minister KCR as the vice-chairman for Southern Zonal Council. Home Minister Rajnath Singh will be the Chairman of the board. The Southern Zonal Council role is to act like bridge between State governments in South India and Centre.
Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Pondicherry (Union Territory) are members of Southern Zonal Council. KCR will be heading this board for one year. Taking everyone by surprise, KCR bagged the post who is the CM of new state of Telangana. Although, Chandra Babu Naidu is close to Centre and he is part of NDA government, Union government opts for KCR. What’s brewing between Centre and KCR?
