South India’s number one director Shankar is busy giving final touches to his much awaited film of this year ‘I’. Lot of expectations are mounted on this film and the music album has topped the chart busters since the day it was released. Many speculations were made about the film and lot of leading national dailies stated that ‘I’ is being made with a huge budget of 185 crores.
Currently, Baahubali holds the tag of costliest cinema across South India with 175 crores and some national dailies informed that the budget of Shankar’s ‘I’ in 185 crores. However, Shankar cleared it on the record that the budget of ‘I’ is less than 100 crores and he requested media not to speculate any thing regarding the budget.
Vikram and Amy Jackson are the lead pair and AR Rahman has composed the music. ‘I’ was supposed to hit the screen on October 23, 2014 but the CG work is still under progress. As for now, the tentative release date is November 14, 2014. Telugu version audio will be launched in Hyderabad in a grand manner.
