Few days ago, Producer Dil Raju had confidentially announced that Seethamma Vaakita Sirimalle Chettu will be releasing on September 28th. But all his plans were thrashed with the sudden illness of Samantha. She is suffering from a rare skin disease for which the doctors advised her not to face the sun for atleast 3 months. There were several combination scenes of Mahesh and Samantha which were to be shot in this schedule. And due to Samantha’s illness, all the dates of Mahesh are being wasted. So,the release date of the movie is uncertain now.

Samantha had promised to attend the shoot from August 1st. If she makes it by then, the movie will be on track for October release.
