The authorities involved in the process of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh have reportedly finalised the allocation of Assembly buildings for Telangana and residuary State of Andhra Pradesh.
According to sources, while the existing building has been allocated to Telangana, the old building/Central Hall will be used as Assembly for Seemandhra. Likewise, the present Telugu Desam Party Legislature Office will be converted into chambers of Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The present chambers of Speaker and Chief Minister have been allocated to Telangana. The four committee halls would be commonly used by both the States. The space of Leader of the Opposition and other leaders and office bearers is likely to be finalised next week.
