There are some who swear by method of acting and there are others who are just what the director’s look out for. Well, without batting an eyelid, Ranveer Singh has placed himself in the ineviable position of being a director’s actor.

For now, you get to see him in semi-nude ads smooching his latest on-screen love interest for Aditya Chopra’s Paris-based rom-com Befikre.

And if it’s Adi who is the director, no actor from the current crop dare go against his wishes. So, Ranveer and Deepika had almost become invisible as Adi had wanted his lead star to look and feel as desirable as possible prior to the film’s release.

So talk from Bollywood is that since the ‘no photo-op’ for Ranveer and Deepika ends 15 days prior to the film’s release, they are once making their media appearances.

However, it won’t be long before Ranveer goes off the radar once again. This time, it will be for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s historical Padmavathi.

In the film, Ranveer plays a rather intense character that is dark and menacing. Though Deepika plays the title role, the off-screen couple are not paired together in the film.
