From the day one they assumed offices Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana Chief Minister KCR were at loggerheads and differing with each other in all aspects. People in both states want them to work together for the progress of both states.
Not only common people union cabinet ministers also feeling the same and trying hard to bring them unite. Union Minister for Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu advised the Chief Ministers of both states to sit together to resolve the disputes between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States.
Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad, Venkaiah said that several disputes between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh would be resolved by holding discussions. He said he is willing to negotiate between Telangana Chief Minister and his AP counterpart to resolve contentious issues between the two states.
Venkaiah Naidu said, “Two States were bound to have disputes over several issues. However, the same could be resolved through discussions. Centre will not differentiate or show favoritism towards any State including Andhra Pradesh. In the issue of waiving off loans of farmers, the same rules will be applicable to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh which are applicable to all other states,” clarified the minister.
“It would be good for both the States to solve their problems by holding discussions and concentrate on people’s welfare and developmental works”, he added by saying that Narendra Modi cabinet would not yield to any kind of pressure from anyone. He also denied commenting on the appointment of Sania Mirza as the Brand Ambassador of Telangana state.
