The sudden showers of rain on Monday in few places of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana might have bring cheer on many faces but YSR Congress leaders are exception to it. If you’re wondering what the reason is? Check out this interesting story.
YSR Congress president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had directed all his party leaders in AP, Telangana to do ‘Varuna Yagas’ on the eve of birth anniversary of his late father YS Rajasekhar Reddy (July 8). In fact, YSRCP leaders were all set to do Yagas across the state but in vain as rains came in advance and played spoil sport.
It is learnt that YSRCP top brass had planned to blame Chandra Babu Naidu for the “delay in the arrival of monsoon season” and want to attribute the “delay in the rainfall ” to his regime and wanted to publicize their favourite slogan, “No rains if Naidu is in power”. With unexpected fall of rain on Monday evening, YSRCP leaders were disappointed and faulted their own misfortune. However, they were just confined to celebrations of YS birth anniversary and put off plans to conduct Varun Yagas.
The ridicule doing the rounds in political circles is that even Rain God (Varun Deva) was feared of YSRCP’s Varuna Yagas and came before in advance. Unable to fight Naidu directly, YSRCP seems to have opted these methods, hit back TDP leaders. There’s no wonder if YSRCP claim even this as their credit now. It’s high time people should stop believing in superstitions and wide-spread rumours. What say folks?
