Accepting the Prime minister Narendra Modi government’ request, Telangana CM KCR convened special assembly session on Tuesday to ratify GST bill.

Ahead of the session, KCR convened cabinet meeting to discuss several issues to be included in the agenda, today evening.

Political circles says KCR obeyed Modi government request instantly because many state related issues and release of funds are pending before union government. KCR wanted to clear all the files and get funds to speed up pending works.

Amid speculation that chief minister would make a statement on the agreement entered with Maharashtra on the construction of irrigation projects, officials said that a debate on the particular issue would also be taken up. However, all the issues would be finalized officially in the Business Advisory Committee ( BAC ) meeting on the first day of the session.
