Going through the listing​ of the ‘Most Powerful Indians in 2017’ by the Indian Express, we can see that the both Chief Ministers of two Telugu speaking states are on the list.
While Andhra Pradesh CM Chandra Babu Naidu ranked 48th on the list, descended from 44th rank last year, Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao went to 72nd rank up from 81st rank last year.
The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been put top on the most powerful list, which comes as no shocker. At the same time, BJP President Amit Shah and RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat are placed second and third on the list respectively.
The Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting and Urban Development, Venkaiah Naidu is placed 21st on the list, moving up from 37th in the last year. And AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi ranked 58th on the list.
After being elected as Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath could find a spot in the list. He is placed 8th on the list.
