The latest controversy of Vishwaroopam ban had not only caught the eye balls of the entire nation but also demanded the immediate focus of Government to amend the Cinematography act which was constituted in 1952. Government now had appointed a committee to review

Bollywood biggies Sharmila Tagore and Javed Akthar are also part of this Committee, They are expected  to recommend the changes to be made to the existing Cinematography act at the earliest. The committee headed by a retired High court judge will recommend the changes in the act considering the change of times from 1952 to now.
