World is not short of problems and every person in the world have their own share of problems. These problems may create loneliness, despair, depression that may create suicidal tendencies in the minds of some people. Researchers have now discovered a pill that might control the suicidal tendencies to an extent of 50% more.

Researchers observed that the pills are showing effect on their subjects in less than a weeks’ time Brain produces a feel good chemical named Opioid which helps creating the feelings of joy and happiness. Based on this fact, scientists have administered medication containing doses of Opioid on the patients suffering from depression and suicidal tendencies.

The drugs containing Opioid are generally used in pain killers, administering these drugs on depressed patients have showed good results by arresting suicidal tendencies in them as well as creating hope and positive attitude in the minds of the patients. Currently, researchers have made observations on a group of 40 patients to draw the current assumptions.

They opined that more extensive research and testing need to be done before formulating a marketable product based on these findings. Hope that this will be done in the near future.
