Power star Pawan Kalyan showed his other side to ruling TDP and in a significant development he asked to stop the land pooling process in capital region. He questioned should a capital be constructed over the tears of the farmers? Pawan Kalyan today met the farmers of AP’s proposed capital region and he received grand welcome from farmers. Large number of farmers met him and expressed their unwillingness to offer lands o AP capital.

Adresing the media after meeting farmers at Undavalli Pawan said “I also want a wonderful capital city, but not at the cost of farmers’ lives. I appeal the state government to reconsider its decision on land acquisition. I appeal Ministers Prattipati Pulla Rao and Narayana to stop the land acquisition process. It is not correct to take lands from the farmers taking excuse of deadline.”

“Home Minister Rajnath Singh has stated in the parliament that no agricultural land should be taken unless it is very essential. But, why the state government is taking all lands of Thullur Mandal? I am asking state Govt why it needs 30, 000 acres of land for constructing the capital city?” Pawan Kalyan questioned

Pawan assured that he will talk to the Chief Minister after he returned to Hyderabad. Pawan Klayan comments turned hot debate in political circles. We have to wait to see how Pawan will use the tour and if he can resolve at all problems faced by the capital region farmers.
