Pawan’s passion for books and literature is well known. Especially, the Power Star hugely admires one of the highly revered Telugu poets Gunturu Seshendra Sharma and often quotes some of his famous lines.

During the promotional interviews for Sardaar Gabbar Singh, Pawan said that Seshendra Sharma’s Adhunika Mahabharatam is one of his favorite books. Since then, there has been a huge curiosity among his fans and the elite to grab a copy of the book and many even started searching for the book at book stores.

However, the book is not available in the market as there was no money with the concerned for reprinting. When Pawan learnt about it, he readily met Seshendra Sharma’s son Satyaki and reportedly offered him financial support to reprint 25,000 copies.

Adhunika Mahabharatam is a collection of poems penned by Seshendra Sharma and it was published in Telugu news failures between 1970 to 1986. Pawan particularly likes the way the poems stand as a mirror to today’s political scenario.
