CPI State Secretary K Narayana said in Eluru that she should be sacked immediately and being an accused she cannot hold the portfolio of Home.
�How can the DGP salute a person who is accused in a case,� he asked and said adding that her continuation in the cabinet will send wrong signals to anti-social elements.
He demanded the Chief Minister to drop all the tainted ministers.
It is unfortunate that some of the ministers are backing the Home Minister and wanted her to continue, he said.
Meanwhile, TDP leader Revanth Reddy also said the Chief Minister should answer as to how he has been allowing tainted ministers to continue in the cabinet.
Speaking to reporters at the party headquarters, he said, the Chief Minister should take action against the ministers facing charges.
