Official: Balakrishna to contest from Hindupur

Contrary to previous reports, Telugu Desam Party is all set to field Superstar Balakrishna, son of veteran star-TDP founder Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao, in 2014 Election Battle. TDP Supremo Chandra Babu Naidu has decided to keep Balakrishna in electoral fray.

What’s more interesting is Balayya will be contesting from an Assembly constituency but not Parliament constituency. Top sources in TDP confirmed the news. Buzz is that Chandra Babu Naidu want Balakrishna to contest from Hindupur Assembly constituency in Anantapur district, hot bed for Telugu Desam Party. Party leaders strongly believing that Balayya’s victory is cake walk and they’re expecting a record majority.

With none other than Balayya coming to fore in 2014, TDP is expected that Balayya’s affect would be in total Anantapur district and its adjacent districts in Rayalaseema.
