BJP is yet to decide on which party support it will take to form the next government in Maharashtra. However already party is divided over its CM candidate as more than 40 MLAs are voicing their support to Nitin Gadkari as CM of the state.
This support from MLAs came even after Gadkari made it clear that he is not interested in CM post. However former state president Mungantiwar who is supporting Gadkari’s candidature as CM said he was surprised that Gadkari opted out of the house.
Today 40 MLAs went to Gadkari’s house in Nagpur and started raising slogans as Maharashtra’s next CM. To the top of it current party chief in Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis who is considered as front runner for the CM post too supported Gadkari’s candidature.
According to sources BJP may announce its decision only after Diwali.BJP is in dilemma as it will open power centres in Maharashtra.
