At a time senior and veteran directors are struggling hard to churn out good films, first-timer directors like Trikoti (Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya) and Mahi V Raghav (Paathshala) have came up with an impressive story lines and decent narration. Most of audiences have liked the films and they are expected to do well with “word of mouth” talk.
Of late, star directors have tumbled at Box Office and their films bombed incurring losses to producers and distributors and leaving audience in disappointment. But small-ticket films who made it with “low” budgets have won the hearts of audience. It’s time for seniors to introspect and reconcile their path and onus also lies on star heroes to control the budgets.
