TDP has knocked the doors of Election Commission of India (ECI or Central Election Commission) over the issue and complained against Bhanwarlal for allegedly “over-stepping” his authority and taking decision (to invalid Chandra Babu’s vote) which is “not under his purview”.
Objecting Bhanwarlal’s decision, TDP claimed that Bhanwarlal’s power is not sufficient to take a call on this. TDP stated that Bhanwarlal can’t take such decision. It further alleged, “Bhanwarlal hasn’t acted on our complaints. Contrary to that, he declared Chandra Babu’s vote as invalid. We’re rejecting it, ” said a statement from TDP office.
