Sekhar Kammula seems to be very unhappy with the unprofessional attitude of Nayanatara. He couldn’t hide his displeasure while talking to the media. He is not happy as the actress didn’t care to promote the film all these days. He said that Nayanatara did a fine job, but she is not his choice for this film.

Nayanatara was cast in Anamika by the producers as they believed that she has good market in Telugu and Tamil, Kammula said. ‘I would have gone with Anushka or a new comer for this role,’ Sekhar Kammula said. He also thought of casting Anjali in this film. So Nayanatara was producers choice and it was not Sekhar’s take to cast her in the lead role.

Sekhar Kammula is also not happy with how the corporate houses operate in film industry. He said corporate houses never own the product. ‘All they do is spend some x amount of money and exchange few emails. That is not how you promote your product,’ Sekhar Kammula said. He is confident that Anamika will do well in the south as he made ample changes to Kahani. He says that once you start watching Anamika, you will forget about Kahani in five minutes.
