Movies from three big families are going to release during same time this summer. All the big releases have opted for summer release and therefore we are not going to see any big films for two more months. But box office is going to get overcrowded in the summer season with all the big films vying for early summer release.
As of now three big films are scheduled for release between March 28 and April 4. Balakrishna’s Legend, Akkineni’s Manam and Allu Arjun’s Race Gurram all are targeting the same release period. Everyone is trying to make use of the first in advantage this summer. We have seen Racha and Badshah making good use of releasing early in summer.
Now Rajanikanth’s Vikrama Simha is also targeting April 11th and this is putting extra pressure on our filmmakers to come out early. Who is going to take the first in advantage is still not clear. We can see tactics from various producers to get hold of this season in coming days. At this point all the three biggies are slated for March 28 or April 4.
