Andhra Pradesh CM Chandra Babu Naidu’s efforts have been paying off finally. Going by highly reliable sources, Babu is chalking out a plan to use the latest space technology and Information technology to benefit common people of Andhra Pradesh. Chandra Babu, who paid an official visit to SHAR, Sri Harikota in Nellore recently along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during ISRO’s PSLV C-23 rocket launch, had asked ISRO chairman K. Radhakrishnan to meet him in Hyderabad. As per Naidu’s instruction ISRO chairman Radhakrishnan and scientists called on him in Hyderabad. Chandra Babu has discussed with Radhakrishnan on various issues
A high-level committee, comprising ISRO scientists and the scientists of state technology department. to be constituted very soon to collect information regarding ground water and forest resources. Forest resources like rare red sanders would be detected through the technology and government could invite global tenders for its auction and thus generate income for the new state of Andhra Pradesh which is mired in financial woes.
Using the latest space technology to generate income for state is bolt out of the blue and it is first of its kind in India. If all goes well, this space mission will yield results and Naidu’s efforts will be paid off.
