Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has begun the work of developing the state from scratch. He first concentrated on the undoing the mistakes committed during the Congress rule in the past decade.
Naidu appointed a 4-Member Group of Ministers (GoM) comprising Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Labour Minister K Acchannaidu, Information Technology Minister Palle Raghunatha Reddy and Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas to examine the decisions taken during the regime of past 3 Congress CMs YS Rajasekhar Reddy, K Rosaiah and Kiran Kumar Reddy. This is a move to cancel the illegal allocation of lands (SEZs & Firms), mines, funds and etc., in the last 10 years. The committee will dig the liquor scam which has the involvement of Kiran Kumar Reddy’s cabinet ministers. GoM would also conduct an audit to check if the land allotted to companies in the name of SEZs created employment opportunities to the youth as per the norms.
The names of several big fishes might surface by the time Naidu’s hurt comes to the closure. Tough time ahead for all those who amassed wealth through illegal means. Time for Reforms Guys!
