Making disgusting comments are always part and parcel of politics, but these days they are getting worst with politicians speaking loosely on issues like rape and women security. Recently Samajwadi leaders Mulayam Singh Yadav, Abu Azmi have made shocking, derogatory comments on women.

Samajwadi leader Abu Azmi said on record, “Rape is punishable by hanging in Islam, but this is happening only to boys not girls. Even women are guilty.” Also he demanded rape punishments should be made as in Islam.” Abu has to face opposition from his own family. His daughter-in-law, actress Ayesha Takia sharply reacted to his male chauvinistic comments.

Ayesha, who debuted with Nagarjuna’s Super in Telugu, slammed her father-in-law, “If what I’m reading about my father-in-law’s statements is true then me and Farhan (husband) are deeply embarrassed and ashamed”. Further speaking, “We surely do not share this mindset. It’s disrespectful to women,” said Ayesha Takia Azmi, calling her Father-in-Law’s statements are sad.
