Mahesh Babu-starrer Aagadu is nearing completion and it features an ensemble cast including actors such Tamannah, Sonu Sood among many other. It was also reported that Nadiya was signed on as Mahesh Babu’s sister in the film. But the actress, who became popular after the success of Attarinitki Daaredhi, confirmed that she never signed the film in the first place.
She said she still keeps getting calls from media about her role in the film and it irritates her. Nadia said she is only part of Drishyam in Telugu and she has already completed shooting for it. Having teamed up with Venkatesh for the first time, she said that the experience was wonderful. While she was initially apprehensive about working with a woman director, but she thoroughly enjoyed the experience of working with Sripriya.
Nadia feels that Drishyam will encourage more female director to take the baton and jump into the male-dominated industry. She says, of course, it doesn’t matter who directs a film- male or female, but if this film turns out to be a blockbuster then it will sure be remembered that it was directed by a woman.
