MS Raju was one of the most successful producers in Tollywood. Popularly called as ‘Sankranthi Raju’. He produced several successful movies like Manasantha Nuvve, Okkadu, Varsham, Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana etc.. He tried his hand in direction with Vaana and then things turned topsy turvy from then. All his films turned flops from then leaving Raju in deep financial troubles.

He is now introducing his son, Sumanth Ashwin under his own direction in a movie titled ‘Tuniga… Tuniga..’ He had pinned high hopes on this movie to revive his career and successfully launch his son. The movie is being produced by Maganti Ramji under the Padmini arts banner.Riya, also a debutante is playing the female lead in the movie directed by MS Raju. Ilayaraja’s son Karteekraja composed the music for this movie touted to be a family entertainer and is expected to release in last week of May.
