Ever since PM Narendra Modi announced cash ban on old 500 & 1000 rupee notes, the continual criticism of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and West Bengal CM Mamta Benarjee have become quite an embarrassment for the centre.
In a follow up to it, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday took a serious pot shot at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his ‘fakir’ remark. The Aap Aadmi Party chief attempted an intensification of criticism against Modi and he’s firing on all possible cylinders.
Earlier this evening at Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh, PM Modi aggressively stated that, ‘I am fighting this war (demonetization) for you, what will those accusing me do? I am a fakir; will exit with my little belongings.’
Launching a strong response over this remark, the CM took to Twitter and alleged, “Modi ji you (call yourself) a fakir? Everyday, you wear four new pairs of clothes, you wear a Rs 10 lakh suit and tour the world. People have lost trust in your words.” In another tweet, Mr. Kejriwal posted “This PM killing institutions one by one- RBI, CBI, universities n now judiciary. Wat India achieved in 65 yrs will be undone by him in 5 yrs.”
Despite such harsh criticism and disapproval from political circles, PM Narendra Modi isn’t looking back and rather pacing ahead with strong face of resistance.
