If we have to believe the reports being circulated by some noted Film Journalists and critics, Megastar Chiranjeevi has invited director Boyapati Sreenu to direct his 150th movie. Reacting on the same, many cine lovers are shocked and asking if Megastar has lost his mind.
The very idea of Boyapati Sreenu brings only swords, knives and bloodshed and a little sentiment to our mind but not a story or any fresh elements. And if Chiranjeevi tries to bring him on board, then everyone starts feeling that the Megastar’s return will be marked with a mass-masala that contains loads of illogical elements. But there is something else to say. In fact, Megastar has already made Paruchuri Brothers prepare the history of pre-independent era’s Rayalaseema based freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimhareddy’s life story into movie. This screen adaptation is done with extensive research and now wants only a perfect action-movie director to handle it on sets.
Who knows, Chiru’s decision might disprove critics too by explaining to the world what Boyapati’s real talent is all about, if at all our director is really directing the prestigious 150th movie. Also with two high octane hits like Simha and Legend in hand, Boyapati will be sure delivering a power packed stunner if at all script supports him highly. So let us see if Chiru will be proved wrong or his critics will be, with this confused motive.
