Pakistani young Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, who is sharing the honour with Indian child right activist Kailash Satyarthi, is wanting the presence of both Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif at the presentation of prestigious award.
17-yr-old Malala said, “I want Indian Prime Mnister Narendra Modi to attend Nobel Prize Award ceremony. I will request PM Nawaz Sharif the same.” Malala urged both India and Pakistan to think of “peace and development”. “I want India and Pakistan to talk about peace and concentrate on education and development,” she added.
Malala has been fighting against all odds for the education of girls in conservative Pakistan. She was shot in her head by Taliban in 2012 and she survived it.
