Already the spine chilling trailer of Shankar’s upcoming flick ‘I’ has set huge expectations among audiences. For its riveting visual effects, mind blowing looks of hero Vikram, exotic locations and death defying stunt sequences, the very first trailer itself generated a thunderous response. And here comes the making video of the film, showcasing the hard-work breathed by Shankar into this big budgeted entertainer.

In theism video, Shankar explains how he conceptualized the story of a body builder played by Vikram. For his role, the talented and perfectionist Tamil hero has to undergo various changes to his physique as he puts more weight for one role and lean look for another. Also 25% of the film was shot in China and Shankar captures the brilliance of virgin China locales through cinematographer PC Sreeram’s eye.

Various foreign stunt-designers have designed action sequences for ‘I’ while famous Weta Digital Studios designed Vikram’s makeup for that crippled-looking character. All these guys shared their experience and what labor went into the making of this wonderful flick that got its music scored by Oscar winner AR Rahman.

Though the narrative of this making video is in Tamil, still it excites film lovers as we journey through much of the film already. In Telugu, the flick got titled as ‘I-Manoharudu’ and soon audio launch of Telugu version is expected.
