Lokesh Streamlining TDP

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh has become the nerve centre of AP Government and TDP’s communications revolution and streamlining systems. The young leader who was the man behind TDP’s electioneering campaign, sits today at the party headquarters from 9 AM to 8.30 PM monitoring almost all the party and government related activities.
While his friend and classmate at Stanford Abhista is now an OSD in Chandrababu’s CMO, Lokesh manages affairs from the frontline. Lokesh starts his day by having a confidential meeting with a team handpicked by him during the elections. He interacts with his team members on various issues, scans the media reports and leaves to meet people who come to see him.

On an average 400 to 500 people call on him. The pattern is more or less same as Chandrababu’s style of functioning say party insiders. After lunch break he allots time for party cadres, ministers, MPs, MLAs and others strictly by appointment till evening and exchanges notes with his father at dinner table at 8.30 pm and important decisions are chalked out. ‘Lokesh is my insider in party and Govt’ Chandrababu says in a lighter vein.
Lokesh was instrumental in selecting PROs, PAs and secretaries for all MLAs, Ministers and in CMO.  He is now busy in selecting candidates for nominated posts which are nearly 140 besides chairmen for around 35 temples in the state.
