It looks like Telugu Desam Party general secretary and Andhra Pradesh IT minister Nara Lokesh has not learnt a lesson from his mistakes despite the attack in the social media and has not made any attempt to do homework before going into public.

The latest video in circulation shows Lokesh addressing a party workers’ meeting in Nellore, in which he said India got independence 66 years ago, but there was no industrial development in the state.

“I am asking this man (read Jagan). Being the son of a chief minister, let him explain how many industries he had brought to the state,” Lokesh said.

Obviously, Lokesh has not done his homework properly and is not aware of the fact that India got the independence 70 years ago (69 years to be precise).

Secondly, one wonders how a chief minister’s son can bring industries to the state. It clearly shows Lokesh did not frame his sentence properly.

May be, he wanted to ask Jagan: “You are a son of a chief minister. Can you explain how many industries your father had brought to the state when he was in power?” Perhaps, he was not in a proper state of mind when he was speaking in public.

Some political analysts say it is better to leave Lokesh just like that instead of immediately exposing his “pappu” character in social media.

“After all, Rahul Gandhi also fumbles in his speeches. He even writes data on a piece of paper and reads it. So what?” he asked.
