Legal trouble is awaiting bombshell Mallika Sherawat as a plea has been filed against her in Hyderabad High Court. One T. Dhangopal Rao, a human rights activist, has moved Hyderabad High Court seeking action against Mallika Sherawat for allegedly using the Indian tricolour obscenely in her upcoming film Dirty Politics.
Dhangopal has accused that actress Mallika and producer Mr Kastoor Chand Bokadia had “intentionally humiliated” the national flag by using it obscenely in the film’s first-look poster. The poster shows Mallika sitting on the top of a beaconed ambassador car with the tricolour draped below her waist. The petitioner said that the use of the national flag for commercial purposes was an insult to the nation’s honour and requested the court to bar the producer from further exhibiting or displaying the poster. Petitioner asked the court to sieze all promotional material of the film. Looks like, legal woes are going to haunt Mallika and her producer.
