The role of Telangana Political Joint Action Committee (TPJAC) in unifying all the forces and political parties for formation of Telangana is unforgettable. However, TPJAC is playing safe on which party to support in the ensuing elections. TPJAC Chairman Prof M Kodandaram and other leaders in Committee are offered MLA and MP tickets by various parties but Kodanda rejected them.
“TPJAC is yet to take a final call on the issue. However, JAC might not come out with a clear statement on its support to a particular political party in Telangana. Instead, people should act maturely while voting. People know well who fought for Telangana and who obstructed it. They should take a wise decision while giving votes,” Kodandaram said.
Both TRS and Congress are claiming their stakes in formation of Telangana state and TPJAC is neutral without supporting any of them.
