After elevating to power and with GHMC elections round the corner, every one expected Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao to take up settlers appeasement works. But KCR is in no mood of pampering them and in fact, his works look like he wants to drive them away from Hyderabad. The demolition drive currently on in Hyderabad is aimed at Settlers.
Even though there are some encroachments involved. Culprits have already sold the lands and commoners are suffering due to the demolitions. With the ongoing power controversy between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, even Telangana ministers are giving controversial statements of stopping power to Seema Andhra residences and offices in Hyderabad.
And on the other side, the fees reimbursement issue is also growing in to big controversy day by day. The new nativity rule of Telangana government says only those living in Telangana from before 1956 and their successor will only become natives of Telangana. So, the people who settled in the region in the United State will be forever considered as non-locals.
A political analyst say that KCR is of the belief that he can never ever win the votes of Seema Andhra people in Telangana. At the same time they can not be stopped from voting in elections. So, KCR has started these anti-settler works so as to make the settlers uncomfortable and drive them out the state. If settlers move out of Telangana, KCR and his family can rule the state forever using the sentiment card.
