Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao said today that the Singareni coal miners and other workers would also be given Telangana increment, announced by the T govt recently.
Reviewing the status of Singareni with officials today KCR said the strike period of Singareni would be treated as special leave and a super specialty hospital will be set up for benefit of singareni workers spread over Adilabad, Warangal, Khammam, Karimnagar. We also plan to set up a medical college linked to Singareni coal fields to benefit children of coal miners.
KCR said he also wanted to buy back the centers share of 47 percent in Singareni and make it a wholly owned company of Telangana. ‘Two power plants will be set up under Singareni with 1200 MW capacity by November 2015’ he said.
