Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao has reiterated that the 1956 nativity criteria is only for purpose of educational assistance through Fee reimbursement scheme that is being introduced in a new format in Telangana. He clarified that the eligibility criteria was applicable for the education sector only and said T government will scrap Tuition fee reimbursement scheme which is scam ridden and introduce FAST( Financial Assistance for Students of Telangana) in its place.

Not a single Telangana student will be made to suffer and my government is committed to provide  free education from KG to PG, he said, adding that the FAST is strictly for Telangana students only.
