Will Congress President and world’s most influential woman Soniamma attend Telangana’s important festival Batukamma? Her actions will be closely watched by all Telangana people as Telangana CM KCR sent cordial invitations to Congress President Sonia Gandhi, loksabha speaker, women union ministers, Women chief ministers of various states on Monday. 

He extended warm invitations to all for the Batukamma festival which will be celebrated across the state from Sep 24 to Oct 2nd. Those who received the invitations included Sonia Gandhi, Sumitra Mahajan, Sushma Swaraj, Smriti Irani, Nazma Heptulla, Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Jayalalitha, Vasundhara Raje Scindia, Mamata Bannerjee, Anandi Ben, Mayavathi and Meera Kumar. 

KCR is planning to celebrate Batukamma as a state fesitival to highlight the culture of Telangana.
