The TRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao insulted BJP’s PM candidate Narendra Modi by saying ‘Modi ledu gidi ledu’ because Modi is a BC candidate and hails from a poor family says Kishan Reddy, the BJP state president. He claimed Modi was insulted by KCR and should immediately confess for what he has done.
In a public meeting, Kishan Reddy said that the TRS chief was answerable to the people for insulting Mr Modi. He added that the very idea of a poor person from the BC community becoming the PM of this country, was possible because of the Indian Constitution, its architect Dr B.R. Ambedkar and the BJP. Mr Kishan Reddy praised Dr Ambedkar for Article 3 which gave hope for the new Telangana state.
He said that development of Telangana was only possible under the BJP and came down heavily on the TRS for getting credit for Telangana state. Mr Kishan Reddy demanded to know the number of times KCR had raised the issue of Telangana in Parliament in the last 10 years. “How can a party with a single MP bring Telangana state into existence?” asked Mr Kishan Reddy, who also criticised the MIM for its agenda. So the verbal war between the two politicians continued.
