Telangana PCC chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah is leaving no opportunity to take on K Chandra Sekhara Rao. He challenged KCR that if the latter did not control his style of speaking, then he would give him sleepless nights. Ponnala alleged that nearly 171 farmers committed suicide all over Telangana recently and of them 30 farmers belonged to KCR’s constituency.
The PCC chief said KCR’s behavior was similar to that of Emperor Nero’s who is said to have played his fiddle while Rome burnt down all around him. Despite completing 100 days in office, KCR did not bother to look into pressing public issues like drought, current cuts and suicides of farmers.
He said while KCR talks of big things, his deeds are quite contrary. Ponnala also warned KCR and his party that the dharnas staged against TRS were just the beginning and if KCR did not change his style of functioning, Congress would intensify its stir.
