Instead of gracefully accepting the defeat, Jagan continued to blame TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu for YSRC falling short of magic figure in General Elections. He yet again alleged Naidu’s false promises costed them dearly in the polls and the TDP Chief was never seen fighting for the people in the past 5 years. “God seems to be still testing me. Neverthless, We were blessed by the almighty with 70 MLAs and 9 MPs as we have just started with 21 MLAs and 2 MPs. The difference between winning (TDP) and losing (YSRC) is just 5 lakh votes,” he told.
Jagan claimed 20 MLAs and 1 MP have been still with YSR Congress though he was in jail for a period of 16 months. He pledged to continue the fight for coming into power in 2019.
Analysts say, Jagan isn’t a matured politician yet and haven’t learnt any lessons from the failure. That’s his biggest minus and the main difference between him & Naidu.
