Congress leader Jairam Ramesh, he is one person who made sure that Telangana bill is completed in a record time and right from scripting to passing in the parliament he was guided solely by his boss Sonia Gandhi to pass the bill by hook or crook.
Until the bill was passed, he was god for Telangana politicians and once it was achieved and things came down to politics involving TRS merger, then war of words started between them. Especially TRS targeted Jairam deliberately using harsh words.
They dubbed him Anti-Telangana and at the same time, even Congress party was very much upset that even after granting state, the people rejected the party. Now sources say that when Jairam met TDP chief Naidu to give some important clarification regarding T-bill at AP Bhavan last week, Jairam hinted Naidu clearly one important thing.
Sources say he said that after June 2nd once T-government takes charge it will be impossible to approve the ordinance regarding Khammam mandals which has been pending and then, it was Chandrababu and Venkaiah Naidu who took the charge and cleared it off in two days time including clearance by Union cabinet and President Pranab’s signature. Jairam had the last laugh.
