Leader of Opposition Jagan Mohan Reddy has given a kind of new “definition” for the word “Prati Praksham” (“Opposition”) in the house on Monday. Jagan said that “Opposition doesn’t mean opposing each and every move by government”.
However, Jagan asked the government to “implement” all its poll promises. Jagan defended his late YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s populist schemes and recalled his services for the poor. Jagan expressed his dissent over Governor ESL Narsimhan’s speech which pointed fingers at the ruling of “last 10 years”. Jagan quipped that previous government has been washed away in the recent polls and said that the race for power was between “two Opposition parties” (TDP, YSRCP).
